XANDER'S BAND
Thundercloud only had 3 mares and 1 yearling in the spring of 2014. However, when the stallion, Copper, was badly injured, Thunder took all of his band but River, increasing his band from 6 to 13. Little Kat was the last to join the band in mid-August 2014. Thunder and his band stay to the east either on the east rim or just below it from late fall to late spring, but in summer they join the other bands in the area of Talkington Trail, Boicourt, and Lindbo Flats. Thundercloud is a full brother to the late High Star. He seems to have developed a cooperative agreement with Sidekick since they are often found together.
2020 brought three new foals to the band, Bales (filly), Eboni (filly, deceased), Bloom ( colt).
In the spring of 2020, Thundercloud's son, Xander, took the band from him.
Winter of 2020 brought heartache with the tragic lost of beloved Strawberry. Her two young offspring, Amite and Bloom, did successfully make it back to their band and we are holding them in our thoughts and prayers as we head through the winter.
2021 found Amite and Bloom still with the band.
Xander stole mare Bannock from Sidekick in 2022.
2023 brought the new addition of filly Eden.
