nicols' BAND
Nicols is a 2014 stallion out of Shale and Gray Ghost. This handsome boy looks so much like his late sire, we've been waiting anxiously for him to acquire a mare.
While he seemed content to hang out with his pal and fellow bachelor, Cloud, in the spring of 2020 we saw him relentlessly dog Arrowhead's band in hopes of winning a mare.
Happily in the autumn of 2020, his persistence finally paid off.
Young mare Hestia (2018 Smokey x Frontier) came into heat and was soon picked up by Nicols. He lost her soon after.
Nichols has a double band with Teton as they are often found together. He now has 4 mares, all of which are Teton daughters.
Summer of 2022 brought the addition of filly Dreamer born to mare Beetree. Her presumed sire is stallion Nicols.
Spring of 2023 brought the new addition of filly Esperanza born to mare Tillie. Her presumed sire is Nicols.
