REMEMBERING buck

​It is with heavy hearts that we share an update on 2024 colt Buck. Buck has not been seen with his band for a few weeks, he is presumed deceased as he can't survive winter without his mother Berk.

Buck was born in November and was doing well, but sadly he sustained an injury to his left hind leg at a few weeks old. This injury seemed to take a toll on him and the last day I saw him in late December he was still limping.

These losses will always take a toll on us and they don't get any easier. Buck was loved by so many in the short time we had him. We will always remember this handsome boy and the strength he showed.
