REMEMBERING CHUBBY

​It is with heavy hearts that we report to you that beloved Chubby has passed from foaling complications.

CSU techs within the park have confirmed her passing with us.

Chubby was 17 years old, born to Stormy and Black Brutus. She gave birth to several offspring, but sadly struggled with giving birth to lethal whites, White Sands and Alaska. She finally gave birth to Bert a healthy colt and seemingly this final foal was healthy as well. Sadly, after Chubby died her final foal did not live much longer, unable to thrive without its mother. 

We take this time to grieve her passing in a time normally so joyful and filled with new life.
