guardian'S BAND
Guardian, a 2013 band stallion, has been working very hard to finally get a mare or two.
For the past few years he has determinedly been going after Half Moon mares. While he was unsuccessful at keeping them for any lengthy time, he did succeed in breeding several mares and has fathered at least two foals.
Finally in April of 2019, he successful stole Freckles, taking her into Painted Canyon away from other bands.
While she went back to in him in the fall, she returned to him in the spring of 2020, along with her filly, Bender.
He was a wonderful band leader for the summer, however by the end of September we saw Freckles take her filly and move back in with Half Moon.
As of October 18th, 2020, Freckles went back to Guardian, only to go back to Half Moon and finally to Vamoose.
While Guardian moped about for a bit, in May of 2021 we saw him successfully woo Stormy and her yearling, Bogue, followed by filly Badger and then finally siblings, Antice and Blackjack joined the band in June.
We saw more changes in the band, when by late summer, through different circumstances, only Antice remained with Guardian by September with little Bart hanging out sometimes.
In November 2022, Guardian swiped all of Arrowhead's band, but that didn't last long and he was soon alone again.
In January 2023, Little Brother's Girl decided to join him, but she left in late March and Anisak joined Guardian.
