Georgia'S Boy's BAND
Georgia's Boy acquired Whiskey from Clinker soon after Ranger was born in 2013 and took them across the river to the west.
He has added and lost other mares in his band, but Whiskey remained his favorite. In the winter of 2018, Cloud successfully stole all of his mares from him and kept then until June 2019.
In June 2019, Flax stole them from Cloud, but lost them a month later to Georgia Boy who swiftly took them back over the river, where he has remained near ever since.
His number one girl, Whiskey has finally turned completely gray. Her first son, Ranger, in 2016 still looked quite dark. Her second son, Gates quickly turned gray, so it will be interesting to see if 2016 filly, Georgia, adopted in 2018, grays.
2021 brought two new delights to the band Magnolia and Tex, and then deep sorrow with the loss of the oldest mare in the park, Flicka.
This is the only band that spends most of its time west of the river or often around the area of Cottonwood Campground.
