FRONTIER'S BAND
Having come to Clinker's band with his half sister, Indian Paintbrush, when his dam died unexpectedly in 2013, Frontier took most of Clinker's band in June of 2017. Clinker had been lame for many years and could not fight off the younger, stronger Frontier.
In the spring of 2019, Indian Paintbrush was taken by Teton again and we presume that is how Frontier suffered an injury.
Moreover, sadly, longtime park legend, Lacey disappeared while pregnant and is presumed deceased.
Frontier's band stays mostly in the interior of the park.
In spring of 2020, Frontier kicked Hephaestus out of the band.
In October 2020, Frontier briefly kicked Hestia out of the band (She went to live with Nichols). But shortly after Flax (Frontier's half brother) took the band from him.
Sweet Falcon was born to Firefly in May of 2021.
He regained the band in June of 2021!
Colt Brave was born to mare Anuk in 2022, his presumed sire is Flax.
He lost mares Bluff and Hestia to his half brother Flax during the summer of 2022.
