FLAX'S BAND
Flax acquired Mischief in 2015 after she was chased away from her natal band by Cocoa. She produced her first foal by him, Pennsylvania, in 2016, but Penny was removed and adopted out.
Spring of 2017 he gained the beautiful filly, Kat, from Thundercloud's band and added Dolly in 2018. Kat gave birth to Orion the summer of 2018, but he sadly passed.
April 2019 brought a new addition to the band with the birth of Kat's filly, Amargo, followed by Dolly's colt, Anzar, in June.
Flax spends much of the summers looking for more mares and in June 2019, successfully took Cloud's mares from the older stallion, adding five new mares to his band, only to lose them again by the middle of July, when Georgia's Boy successfully stole them back.
2020 brought two new additions to the band; Bird (filly) and Bokel (colt).
In October 2020, Flax acquired his half brother's Frontier's band, the mega band is a lot for one stallion to handle.
In spring of 2021 the first foal, Falcon was born, and in June, Frontier stole back his original band!
July of 2021 brought a wonderful surprise with Dolly giving birth to her first documented sabino filly, Oakley!
Summer of 2022, Flax acquired mares Bluff and Hestia from his half brother stallion Frontier.
In January 2023, Anzar became a bachelor and Ms. Indpendent (Dolly) and her girls, Oakley and Zoe, moved to Hephasteus' band.
2023 brought one new addition to the band; filly Edna.
