COPPER'S BAND
Copper has been a band sire off and on since 2008. Due to a serious leg injury in the summer of 2014 he lost his entire band.
He regained a few mares in 2015, again was injured, and lost them in the late fall of 2016.
One of the most determined stallions ever, he gained back Democracy and Cody, his colt out of her, in the spring of 2017. When Silver was injured in June of 2017, Copper acquired Esprit, Juniper, and Faith and in July added Firefly and Eagle.
Spring 2019 brought a two new additions to the band, Agasii and Akoswift. While Agasii is a thriving, rambunctious filly, adopted out in summer of 2019, sadly the little colt, Akoswift died shortly after being born.
In May of 2020, Copper took control of Mystery's entire band upon his tragic passing. While Copper held them for a few months, the massive band was difficult for a stallion to manage and several of the mares started to find homes with other stallions, including much our surprise, Democracy, Copper's first love.
Foals born to his band in 2020 included Balfour (filly) and Bartonia (colt).
Spring of 2021 saw Gretchen giving birth to her first foal: Wyatt Earp!
